Nice little picnic area in the bush. However, I found this place to have dangerous childrens activities, swing ropes into the river very dangerous as shallow rocky water. Boat ramp very slippery and dangerous. I was pleased to see a warning sign about this. Hidden rocks in waterway which are dangerous as not enough signs. I spotted a black snake crossing the river in front of me. Maybe a red belly black or yeloow belly. Caught no fish Met lovely helpful people on horseback and at the pontoon and wharf. Saw bullshark caught, live bait, stingrays, crabs and birds. Was no bbq. Toilets were nice but needed to be cleaner. Wharf is little.

Awesome place for chilling out, used to be a tourist hotspot of the 60s and even today it still is a great place.

A great place for fishing or just looking at the river

Nice views, good kayaking / canoeing in the area, public toilets, boat launch and pontoon, and a nice Scout camp nearby. Recommended.
